Danielle, CVT, is our "been around the world" staff member. She was born in Australia, lived in California, Texas, Alaska and Florida, but has settled in Colorado. She earned her Veterinary Technician Certification from Bel-Rea Institute in Denver in 2002. While working here, she graduated from CSU in Equine Sciences. Outside of the office, she keeps busy with horse training and lessons. She has four dogs, two cats, two goats, two horses, a pot bellied pig and a wallaby!
Monique, Hospital Coordinator, is originally from Europe by way of Boulder, Colorado. She has lived in Fort Collins since 1988. Monique comes to us with a professional background in management of non-profit and small businesses. She graduated with honors from the University of Denver with a degree in Sociology and Speech Communications. In her spare time she enjoys music, gardening and Kenpo Karate. She is the proud owner of three dogs (one is deaf), two cats and a very loud parakeet!
Gerry, Bookkeeper, serves as our financial wizard keeping the books, purchasing everything we need in the office, making sure we all get a paycheck, and the rest of the behind the scenes work that keeps the hospital going. You will find her hard at work with her four-legged friend, Kole', at her feet. Gerry's special gift to the team is to make sure we always have plenty of snacks to help us through the day!
Nicolle, Receptionist/Assistant, joins us from Southern California. She has a B.S. in Biology from California Lutheran University and is currently attending CSU for her Masters in Biomedical Science in the Veterinary Concentration with plans to attend veterinary school. In her free time she enjoys hiking, climbing 14ers, yoga and exploring all of the fun things Colorado has to offer. She brings past clinic experience including reception and treatment.
Stephanie, Reception/Technician, joined are staff as a receptionist, but now also brings her experience to the treatment area as a veterinary Technician. She graduated from Berthoud High School, then attended Front Range Community College, graduating in May 2010 with her certification in Veterinary Technology. In her spare time she enjoys softball, golf, and spending time with family & friends-- including her adorable yorkiepoo named Bubbaloo Bear.
Becca , Receptionist/Assistant, joins us via Hawaii. She brings extensive veterinary receptionist experience, but is excited about "getting her hands dirty" and assisting in treatment. She has a great compassion for the animals we see and never lets herself get flustered. Her skills and bright disposition make her a gem on our staff!
Katherine,Technician/reception, is one of our newest team members. Kat originally comes from Boulder, CO. She attended Colorado Mountain College studying Veterinary Technician and most recently attended Front Range Community College. She has extensive experience as a Veterinary Technician and plans to complete her studies in order to take her certification exams. Say hello next time you're in and you will be rewarded with her catchy smile!
Ryan Strycker, Assistant, is our newest member of our team. He volunteered with us for a short while during what we fondly called "the longest working interview ever". Ryan is a joy to work with. He is currently attending Front Range Community College to earn his Veterinary Technician Certificate, after attending CSU in the field of engineering. He is on the fast track for learning and we are all very happy to welcome him to our team.
