Danielle, CVT, is our "been around the world" staff member. She was born in Australia, lived in California, Texas, Alaska and Florida, but has settled in Colorado for the last five years. She earned her Veterinary Technician Certification from Bel-Rea Institute in Denver in 2002. While working at here, she graduated from CSU in Equine Sciences. Outside of the office, she keeps busy with horse training and lessons. She has four dogs, two cats, two goats, two horses, a pot bellied pig and now -- a baby wallaby!
Tina, CVT, is a Colorado native and grew up in Berthoud. She earned her Veterinary Technician Certification from Front Range Community College in Fort Collins in 2005. She has spent time working at the CSU Veterinary Hospital, but wanted to return to small practice veterinary care. She has a passion for canine behavior and client education. She is the owner of two sweet dogs, Lucy and Phoebe, and a new addition.... a cat names Cash.
Michelina, Technician/Receptionist, grew up in a small town in the Northern foothills of California. While attending community college, she had the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Australia. She recently graduated from CSU with a degree in biology. She began graduate school, also at CSU, this Fall with plans to eventually go to veterinary school, specializing in internal medicine or orthopedic surgery. She owns a lab named Kali, a cat named Pedro, and new little puppy name Zeke.
Monique, Hospital Coordinator, is originally from Europe by way of Boulder, Colorado. She has lived in Fort Collins since 1988. Monique comes to us with a professional background in management of non-profit and small businesses. She graduated with honors from the University of Denver with a degree in Sociology and Speech Communications. She is the proud owner of three dogs, two cats and a very loud parakeet!
Jessica, Technician Assistant, is our newest staff member. Jessica grew up in Denver and Fort Collins, having recently graduated from Front Range Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has two dogs, five ferrets and a corn snake. In her free time, she enjoys fostering animals. Welcome aboard!
Gerry, Bookkeeper, serves as our financial wizard keeping the books, purchasing everything we need in the office, making sure we all get a paycheck, and the rest of the behind the scenes work that keeps the hospital going. You will find her hard at work with her four-legged friend, Kole', at her feet. Gerry's special gift to the team is to make sure we always have plenty of snacks to help us through the day!
Anna Nellor, Receptionist, is a native to Fort Collins, but has lived and traveled to many places before returning here. She has worked in veterinary clinics before and has settled in here at HHP very quickly. We think you will appreciate her bubbly personality and welcoming smile! Outside of work, she owns her own acupuncture business (for humans that is).She owns two cats and the cutest little dog named Lulu. We are thrilled to have her with us.
