Iams Prescription Diet Recall
NEW: Puppy Great Start Program
This program includes everything you will need to give your new puppy a great start in life. All wellness exams, vaccines, de-worming, routine fecal, spay/neuter surgery (including pre-anesthetic bloodwork, pre-surgery pain package, individual recovery care and take-home pain medications), dental care demonstrations, and a free bag of iVet puppy food. The program also includes discounts on a variety of other services you may need for your puppy such as fecals, micro-chipping, heartworm testing and preventative medication, and more.
What makes our program different? The Puppy Great Start Program covers your puppy until age 14 months when it will need it's annual wellness exam and vaccines. We also include a 10 month health check at which time you can ask questions relating to dental care, behavioral issues, transitioning to adult food, appropriate feeding and body weight, and more.

Iams has issues a VOLUNTARY RECALL of all its dry formula prescription diets for both canine and feline. Salmonella was discovered in the packaging plant. All known products to have traces of salmonella on the packaging have already been recalled and we did not sell any of those bags of food.
The voluntary recall is just a precautionary measure. If you have a bag of food, please call 1-877-340-8823 to get more information regarding receiving a refund from Iams and proper disposal. It is important that anyone handling the packaging and/or food wash their hands.
DO NOT BE ALARMED! Iams has not found any of the food to be tainted and there have been no reported cases of illness among animals or humans. This is strictly a precautionary recall.
NEW Easy-to-Use Products to Help your Pets' Teeth Stay Healthy!
We have new products to help keep your pets' teeth healthy. These products will not replace the need for a professional dental cleaning, but can definitely increase the intervals in-between cleanings....especially if implemented in your pet's daily routine after a cleaning!
Products include a food supplement that works with an abrasive action to clean teeth. They nuggets taste great and can be used in lieu treats. Also, we carry a safe water additive that can reduce tartar build-up and makes their breath smell great at the same time. We also have started offering an oral gel to help with plaque build-up.
Of course, we still carry enzymatic chews, pet-safe enzymatic toothpaste (brush included), and a tartar-reducing spray.
With all these options....there is no excuse to not helping your pet have healthy teeth and in turn help you pet live a healthy life.
